Actress Song Yu Jung Dead At 26
South Korean actress and model Song Yu Jung has passed away at the very young age of 26.
The actress's passing made her fans worldwide mourn for their idol, who has been very kind and humble since she started her career in the entertainment industry.
Sublime Artist Agency reports Song Yu Jung's death
Star Today reported that a representative from Song Yu Jung's agency, Sublime Artist Agency, confirmed in a statement about the matter.
"Song Yu Jung passed away on January 23," the representative said. However, the official report of the actress's death, including the cause, was not confirmed.
Later on, the agency issued another statement that again confirmed Song Yu Jung's departure on the date revealed by the representative.
Funeral details of Song Yu Jung
The artist's family wishes to hold the funeral for their beloved loved one privately, away from the presence of the media and fans. That said, the funeral was facilitated quietly, and the funeral procession will begin on January 25 (Monday).
Sublime Artist Agency also said that Song Yu Jung is dear to their hearts, who has always been a joy and brightness source. The agency added, "She was a wonderful actress who acted with heated passion."
Remembering the career journey of Song Yu Jung
Song Yu Jung started her life in the entertainment industry as a cosmetic brand model. She made her way to the acting department of the business via MBC's Golden Rainbow in 2013.
After her debut show, she then graced the same network's Make Your Wish, followed by KBS2's School 2017 and the web drama titled Dear My Name.
She is also an in-demand music video star. Song Yu Jung starred in Standing Egg's music video for Friend to Love, NIve's How Do I, and iKON's Goodbye Road.
Song Yu Jung inked a contract with Sublime Artist Agency in 2019 as an actress.
