Lee Hyori Apologizes To Rain And Yoo Jae Suk For Her Recent Controversy
Recently Lee Hyori and Yoona of Girls' Generation have been criticized for going to karaoke and not using facial masks as implemented by the government to avoid further spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Lee Hyori eventually put on a mask after getting called out by a fan. At the same time, Yoona explained she was wearing a mask while heading to the karaoke location, and only took it off after entering the area.
Despite explaining, the two celebrities still got several criticisms from people on social media, which led them to write letters of apologies for their behavior.
Lee Hyori is currently appearing in the show, Hangout With Yoo, where she established a music group with Yoo Jae Suk and Rain, naming themselves SSAK3.
In their recent episode in 'Hangout With Yoo,' Lee Hyori looked sorry for her behavior as she wasn't as enthusiastic as she usually is. Although Rain and Yoo Jae Suk are both aware of Lee Hyori's controversy, they did not mention it and tried to be as lively as possible. (via Koreaboo)
The two also attempted to make jokes to ease the mood of Lee Hyori. Yet, Yoo Jae Suk saw that Lee Hyori didn't seem to be her usual self. Yoo Jae Suk opted instead to humorously discuss the "controversy" by asking her to be careful and be wary next time before their debut as SSAK3.
Lee Hyori could not manage her strong emotions and apologized profusely at them as she broke down in tears for her thoughtless actions. Rain admitted that just before the filming started, Lee Hyori already personally apologized to him for the recent fiasco.
Yoo Jae Suk then offers her few encouraging words to remind her that making mistakes is normal. Lee Hyori then suggested that she leave the group instead. However, it only made Rain and Yoo Jae Suk upset.
