BTS And BLACKPINK's Fans Are In Awe With China Fanbases For Purchasing Albums In Large Volumes
BTS and BLACKPINK's fans were mesmerized by the extensive support they have received from Chinese fans. And with China's huge K-Pop fan culture, netizens quickly realized why Chinese fanbases order many albums of K-Pop groups.
In the past years, the growing popularity of BTS and BLACKPINK has been made more evident. With the world embracing the Kpop culture, more Korean groups also have enjoyed the love and support of international fans through streaming their songs on different music platforms and even purchasing their albums.
The Chinese Fans Don't Settle For Less
A netizen recently posted a list of 'Top 30 Kpop Groups/ Subunit Chinese Fanbases Album GO orders.' BTS topped the list with BTS member V's Chinese fanbase has ordered the most number of albums.
For "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," the Chinese fans ordered 230,300 copies, and "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" sold 170,400 copies. The two albums both rank 1 and 2 on the list.
Furthermore, the Chinese fanbase of BTS member Jungkook came in at 3rd place as they ordered 166,200 copies of "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA." BLACKPINK's Lisa ranked 4th as its Chinese fanbase ordered 133,532 copies of "The Album."
EXO, NCT, Seventeen, and Red Velvet also joined the list, with BTS and BLACKPINK leading at the chart's top.
The ARMYs And The BLINKs Are In Awe
With the extreme support level and massive scope of the China fans, Korean netizens have divulged their thoughts, saying that V's fanbase in China is enormous and BTS and BLACKPINK are at the top in China. "Wow, so many K-Pop albums are being sold in China," one enthralled fan shared.
Moreover, other comments read, "I love Jungkook and Lisa, same as Chinese fans," "So crazy how V's fanbase took first and second place for the most albums bought," "V's fanbase is in another level," and "In Japan, Seventeen and TWICE sells a lot of albums, lol."
