BTS's 'Dynamite' Hits 650 Million Views, Sets New Record On Youtube
The Youtube impressive milestones are not stopping before everyone welcome 2021, as Dynamite is back at it again!
BTS's Dynamite hits 650 million views on Youtube
The global pandemic-inspired track by BTS, titled Dynamite, has exceeded a massive number of views on Youtube. With that said, Soompi reported that it now has bagged 650 million views on November 30, at precisely after 11 PM, following South Korea's time zone.
BTS's remarkable and new Youtube feat only is three months, nine days, and ten hours in the making, allowing the boy band to collect an intense figure. The band released the music video on August 21 at 1 PM KST, uploading it directly on Big Hit Label's official Youtube channel.
When one goes to the direct video Youtube site, the number of views written under the title proves BTS's feat true. And as of writing, it now has more than 652 million views, making it one of BTS's music video gems.
Dynamite sets a new record
According to The News Trace, Dynamite's music video is the "quickest music video by a Korean act to succeed in 650 million views." The impressive milestone comes in handy by beating the previous record holder of PSY's said feat, with Gangnam Style.
However, there is no official report and record as to the timeline followed by the music video to achieve the same, but further reports say that it took three months and 16 days. This means BTS took a faster time to covet the record and dethrone Gangnam Style in the reign.
Dynamite is the eighth music video by the world's most phenomenal K-pop group to achieve the same feat. It follows the footsteps of Boy With Luv, DNA, MIC DROP, Fake Love, IDOL, Blood Sweat & Tears, and Fire.
Send in your congratulations to RM, J-hop, Suga, V, Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook by re-watching Dynamite's music video below!
