VERIVERY Reveals Cinematic Dark-Themed MV For 'Thunder'
VERIVERY makes a grand return with their fourth mini-album Face You' along with the music video for its title track 'Thunder!'
In the cinematic MV, the VERIVERY members attempt to invade a boundary beyond an off-limit territory where they come across missing posters, leading them to solve a shocking mystery.
The fourth mini-album 'Face You' is the second installment in VERIVERY's 'Face It' series about finding the courage to face one's real identity face-to-face, as per Soompi.
VERIVERY's comeback was confirmed right after the group participated in the Mnet's new survival show program 'Road To Kingdom.' The boys competed with other boy groups in the previous months on the said show.
The group reached the final round of the show and performed their new single 'Beautiful-X' for the show's finale. It was announced during the last episode of the show that VERIVERY finished in fifth place overall.
Their comeback with 'Face You' marks the rookie boy group's first comeback in approximately seven months since they launched their new 'Face It' album series with their 3rd mini-album 'Face Me' in January.
Although their latest album is comprised of six tracks, only five are available digitally, as the song "Thank you, NEXT" is CD-only, Allkpop reported.
VERIVERY is a South Korean boy group formed by Jellyfish Entertainment in 2018. They are the label's first boy group in seven years since VIXX.
According to Wikipedia, the group's name came from the Latin word 'veri' meaning 'truth' and the English word 'very.'
The group consists of seven members, namely Dongheon, Hoyoung, Minchan, Gyehyeon, Yeonho, Yongseung, and Kangmin.
VERIVERY officially debuted on January 9, 2019, with their first extended play 'Veri-Us' and its lead single 'Ring Ring Ring.' The boys then finally released their first ever single album 'Veri-Chill' and its lead single "Tag Tag Tag on July 2019."
The boy group is trying to build a name for themselves as self-producing idols. They have been active in contributing to their song productions since debut.
The hard work they've done since their trainee days are now evident in their latest music video. Check out the MV for 'Thunder' here!
