Lee Joon Gi Sends Thoughtful Gift For Seo Ye Ji In Support Of Her Ongoing Drama
It seems that Lee Joon Gi remains friends with all his co-actors in his past projects as he sends his support for Seo Ye Ji for her ongoing drama 'It's Okay Not To Be Okay!'
On June 11, Lee Joon Gi sent a food truck over to the set of 'It's Okay Not To Be Okay' to support his former leading lady, Seo Ye Ji.
The two artists previously worked together as the main leads in the 2018 drama 'Lawless Lawyer.' Although it has been years since the show concluded, Lee Joon Gi's gesture proves that they have remained friends since then.
On the food truck that Lee Joon Gi sent were banners that came with encouraging words from the actor himself. Here are what each banner said as translated from the Soompi forum:
Top banner:
"I love shaved ice. It looks so thrillingly beautiful when it beats the heat with a single scoop - from actor Lee Joongi."
The actor's phrase was from Seo Ye Ji's line in the drama: "I love magnolias. It looks so thrillingly beautiful when it snaps off and falls with a single blow."
Side banner:
"I wish the cast & staff of It's Okay to Not to Be Okay successful filming!!"
On the cup sleeve:
"I support beautiful witch Go Moon Young and all the cast and staff!!"
Lee Joon Gi's sweet messages are sure to have given strength and smiles to all the casts and staff of 'It's Okay Not To Be Okay.'
On June 29, the actor also sent a coffee truck to his other former leading lady in the hit drama 'Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo' - IU. The thoughtful gesture was the actor's way of showing support to IU for her upcoming movie 'Dream.'
Lee Joon Gi keeps on proving time and time again that he is the ultimate leading man.
Meanwhile, Lee Joon Gi will be starring in the upcoming drama 'Flower of Evil' along with actress Moon Chae Won. The first episode will air on July 22!
