BLACKPINK Collaborates With PUBG Mobile
BLACKPINK is collaborating with the game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile!
BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That,” according to YG Entertainment, will be used as the lobby background music for PUBG Mobile. The background music will be changed after October 2 to BLACKPINK’s new song from their first full-length album released that day.
As per reports, this is the first time PUBG Mobile has used music from a K-pop artist. And since the lobby is an area all of the game users must pass through, users will be able to hear BLACKPINK’s music from all over the world.
Furthermore, there will be several special events that await fans and users. Users can view a special video of BLACKPINK made to celebrate the collaboration in an event page within the game starting from October 24 at 3 p.m. KST until October 8. And as support, users can also move to the BLACKPINK members’ Personal Spaces and send My Room gifts to the members.
The rewards of the game will include BLACKPINK’s light stick, game items, and more as part of the six levels of prizes where users can win.
“Various collaborative content and events will be additionally revealed along with the release of BLACKPINK’s first full album ‘THE ALBUM,” according to YG Entertainment and PUBG Corporation.
The first full album release of BLACKPINK titled “THE ALBUM” will be on October 2. The quartet previously released “How You Like That” in June and “Ice Cream” in August as pre-release singles in their three-part comeback.
New Milestone Of BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That”
BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” is now the first single by a Korean girl group to go gold in Canada!
Music Canada’s Gold/Platinum Certification Program shared the news about the song achieving gold last September 17. A single must reach 40,000 units sold to achieve gold certification in Canada, and the artist’s record label must make an application.
