“Zombie Detective” cast Park Ju Hyun and Choi Jin Hyuk talked about taking their unique new drama.
On September 17, Director Shim Jae Hyun, and actors Park Ju Hyun, Ahn Se Ha, Choi Jin Hyuk, Hwan Bo Ra, Lee Joong Ok, Tae Hang Ho, Kwon Hwa Woon, and Im Se Ju participated in a press conference for the upcoming KBS 2TV “Zombie Detective.”
While talking at the press conference, director Shim Jae Hyun shared that all the actors he wants the most for each role are all here, and on top of that, they are not the regular actors you know, and they also work well together.
Choi Jin Hyuk then shared that he did not think about it a lot when he first read the script. He knew that it would be a great challenge for him, and fear started to build up.
But for the reason that he will be working with a great director, actors, and staff, he had fun while filming. He concluded that the result of the drama would also be great.
The actor added that he and the director worried at first on how the zombie makeup would look. They tried and were satisfied once they did the filming test. In the drama, they wanted the zombie to look like humans, so they put BB cream on top of his zombie wounds.
Park Ju Hyun commented on her taking on leading a role after gaining more popularity after her drama “Extracurricular.” She added that it would be impossible not to feel pressure, but she is grateful that her previous work did well. She feels pressure now for her new drama, but she will be putting her heart and soul into filming the “Zombie Detective.”
The actress answered the question of what does it feel like to be in a zombie drama. Park Ju Hyun answered that she tried zombie makeup once because she likes horror and zombie movies, so she wanted to try to put some zombie makeup.
After she did, she stated that she thought Choi Jin Hyuk is impressive, and he must be going through a lot of sacrifices to create a more realistic look. (Via Soompi)
Park Ju Hyun also said that many people are going through something right now due to the difficult situation. She hopes that this drama will bring sunshine in the storm.
