‘Flower of Evil’ Dominates Time Slot With All-Time High Ratings
tvN’s “Flower of Evil” continues to dominate its timeslot with high ratings with just two episodes left in its run!
The mystery thriller drama starring Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won, on September 16, achieved its highest viewership ratings to date. As per Nielsen Korea, “Flower of Evil” scored an average nationwide rating of 4.8 percent and 5.4 percent, surpassing its previous highest rating achieved for the drama.
‘Flower Of Evil’ On Top Across All Channels
Furthermore, “Flower of Evil” also took the first place in its time slot across all channels, including public broadcast networks. Ages 20 to 49 are among the key demographic of viewers, with whom it scored a nationwide average rating of 3.1 percent and a peak of 3.4 percent.
Fans are kept on the edge of their seats with ‘Flower of Evil’s” twists and turns on the September 16 episode (episode 14). After Do Hyun So (Lee Joon Gi) and Cha Ji Won (Moon Chae Won) realized their true feelings for each other, they faced another crisis when Do Hyun Soo was set by the real Baek Hee Sung (played by Kim Ji Hoon) for him to take the blame for the housekeeper’s murder. Falling for his evidence, Cha Ji Won this time intended to arrest Do Hyun Soo herself. Do Hyun Soo then told her, “If even you don’t believe me, then who in the world would?” and shocked viewers by placing a knife to her throat.
The Reunion Episode Of ‘When I Was The Most Beautiful’
Meanwhile, the drama of MBC, “When I Was the Most Beautiful,” starring Im Soo Hyang, Ji Soo, and Ha Seok Jin scored average nationwide ratings of 2.7 percent and 3.6 percent for its two parts.
The episode of “When I was the most beautiful” on the 16th revealed the characters shocked after discovering Seo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) still alive after missing seven years ago. Oh Ye Ji (played by Im Soo Hyang) hed never let go of her relationship with Seo Jin despite being missing for several years, which caused the love and sympathy of Seo Hwan (played by Ji Soo) for her grow more robust. The episode ended, amid the complicated feelings, with Oh Ye Ji reuniting with her husband Seo Jin, with his lower body paralyzed.
