Red Velvet’s Seulgi is featured in DAZED magazine!

Wearing pieces from the clothing brand RAIVE, Red Velvet’s Seulgi reflects a simple and effortlessly confident woman in Retro vibe. With radiating neon lights all over, the chic Seulgi is distinctly emphasized.

In her recent interview with DAZED magazine, Seulgi was asked about her feeling of being in a duo. She said, “Getting songs and performances ready with Irene is something I’ve done all the time since I was a trainee, so we work well together."

She added, "One thing I do worry about is that it might seem awkward from the perspective of our fans since we’ll be going from five members filling up a stage down to two members. That’s why I’ve practiced almost every day, and we’re exchanging opinions a lot.”

Seulgi admitted that she can’t say everything at the moment except that the concept of ‘Irene & Seulgi’s’ performances differ from Red Velvet.

As the interview continued, Seulgi was also asked if, like the seasons of the world, she changed. She responded, “I’m diligently trying to fill up my days. It’s getting hotter out and my stamina’s gone down too, so I’m trying to work hard at exercising as well.”

Another question was raised if Seulgi’s idol life, after six years, is similar to what she expected before the debut.

“There are things that have changed,” she said. “Early on after our debut, I felt my heart flutter with excitement even just over getting my hair and makeup done. Lately, I’ve become used to preparing for performances and filming? And I also feel more relaxed. I used to get nervous about everything, but I’m more comfortable lately.”
