Red Velvet Joy’s Compassion For Rescued Dogs Melts The Hearts Of Her Fans
Red Velvet’s Joy is now using her social media account to find good people to adopt dogs in ‘Dogs are Incredible.’
Even before Joy entered the K-pop industry, she already wanted to be a dog trainer. The singer and main lead rapper of red Velvet always had a special place in her heart for dogs, longing for someone to adopt the abandoned ones.
“You can’t just get one just because you want one. You need to be prepared,” this is one of Joy’s heartfelt answer to a fan who asked her if she has a dog back in 2018 when she talked about her love for animals on JTBC’s ‘Knowing Brothers’.
According to her, she wants to know the proper way of taking care of dogs before she welcomes a new family member to her home, SBS Star reported.
She then volunteered to animal shelters and maximized her time by knowing different types of dogs despite her busy schedule.
On November 10, 2018, Joy announced on Red Velvet’s social media account that she finally adopted an adorable white puppy named ‘Sunshine.’
Since she started in the industry, she always mentioned her love for animals whenever given a chance.
On June 25, SM Entertainment confirmed that Joy filmed for the show ‘Dogs are Incredible,’ where Joy positively promoted the awesome adventure of adopting a dog.
A photo of Joy was posted on ‘Dogs are Incredible’s’ Instagram account where she was holding a cute puppy with the message, “Hello, viewers of ‘Dogs are Incredible.’ This is Joy from Red Velvet. These puppies were rescued from the animal protection center #KARA after staying at a dog breeding factory until a few days ago.”
Joy later posted on her Instagram, “I’m looking for a warm family that can be a lifelong family of these pretty babies! Please consider carefully and adopt!”
We hope Joy finds warm homes for the abandoned fur babies!
