"Lie After Lie" is a new suspense drama produced by Kim Dong Rae. The story tells about Ji Eun Su (played by Lee Yori), who appears to have everything. She was married to a wealthy family and thought that her life would be a comfortable ride. She falls under the suspicion of killing her husband, sent to prison when the court finds her guilty despite her insistence of being innocent.
However, Kang Ji Min (played by Yeon Jung Hoon), a warm-hearted reporter, tried to reveal Ji Eun Soo's husband's suspicious death when she began developing doubts about the case.
The new suspense romance drama continued drawing new viewers and achieved the highest viewership ratings.
According to Nielsen Korea, the fourth episode of "Lie After Lie" reached an average rating of 4.2 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area and nationwide, breaking its record for the highest ratings gained by any drama in Channel A history the previous night. The episode reached an impressive rating of 5.3 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area.
However, SBS's "Alice" scored 8.0 percent average nationwide ratings and 9.9 percent for its two parts. It made a significant increase in viewership from the previous episodes the night before.
Another drama, OCN's "Missing: The Other Side," held steady by reaching a 3.9 percent peak and an average nationwide rating of 3.3 percent for the night. Moreover, tvN's Forest of Secrets 2" took the first place in its time slot, gained an average nationwide rating of 7.2 percent and a peak of 8.0 percent.
Lastly, the KBS 2TV's "Once Again" continued to be the most-watched drama of Saturday night as it is leading into its final series. The drama's penultimate episode scored an average nationwide rating of 29.6 percent and 33.3 percent for its two parts.
