Taemin Gives Off His Full Emotions On New Album 'Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1'
As per Hellokpop, a 27-year-old K-pop idol and member of SHINee created a movie-like album with his newly released songs. Taemin's newest and third album entitled 'Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1' comprises pieces that share and delivers the idol's more fully-pledged aura. The K-pop dedicated news site further revealed that the tracks in the album showcase Taemin's poured out emotions.
On August 24, Taemin revealed the promotion schedule for 'Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1,' kicking off the countdown of his long-awaited third album.
The idol then started poking his fans' anticipation by dropping teasers of various kinds, including the full tracklist.
On the period of August 29 to September 5, the K-pop idol shared the concept images of his album, where he donned various attires as he exudes the different sides of him. In particular, Taemin focused on the most-cryptic side of the photos' atmosphere, as well as wilder and darker auras.
'Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1'
The third solo album of Taemin starts with its title track called 'Criminal,' which is a mixture of a tense rhythm and modern-retro sounds. The idol's sultry vocal adds up to the song's mesmerizing melody and words, that best resembles a movie-like piece of music.
Next is the track titled 'Black Rose,' a pop categorized song with an illuminating keyboard sound instrumental that gives off a nostalgic feeling to its listeners.
The third track is 'Strangers,' which is an addictive pop song that provides the mystery.
The album goes on with the medium tempo thumping beat of 'Waiting For' that bottles up sounds from violins and Spanish guitar.
'Clockwork' is a ballad song that surely captivated its listeners' hearts through its poetic lyrics. It is a song that sings of a person's recall moments of his lost love's memories.
The next song is an R&B track called 'Just Me And You,' making Taemin show off his unique charm.
'Nemo' is a song inspired by the '90s, depicting a heavy rhythm sounds from the keyboard.
The last song is a pre-released track called '2 KIDS,' that sings along an EDM-pop genre with a radiating guitar instrumental.
