ANS Entertainment Denies The Breach Of Contract Allegations By ANS + Indicating Lawsuit Action
South Korean artist agency ANS Entertainment, is in agitating terms with their self-titled all-girl band ANS, who seven out of eight members took necessary legal action to end their contracts. Furthermore, the agency was provoked on the fact-less points blurted out by the ladies. The matter led the agency to act out to defend their side and hinted a legal action war saying they did not breach any contracts.
"We have not violated the exclusive contract of ANS members under any circumstances, and we are thoroughly following the standard contract for pop culture artists," ANS Entertainment said on the statement they released to the public on August 25 (Tuesday).
As per Kpopstarz, the agency revealed saying there are no issues with any of the girls' settlement process. In a remark from the agency's side, the inked contracts of the group are under the famous cultural artists, and it solely says that the disbursement of profit should be taken expenses spent on the legal process. As a result, the remainder of the net profits should be equitably distributed between the agency and each member.
Furthermore, the agency demanded each member of their band fully fulfill their obligations in the contracts. Having that said, any communication and decisions made regarding the case are bound with strict civil and criminal terms. The matter prohibits the girls from sharing false information and accusation to the agency, or else it will result in further legal actions.
Just recently, ANS card-carrying members, namely, Dami, Bian, Raon, Darin, Royeon, J, and Lina, made known to their official fan café that the agency has been very unsupportive. This about their endeavors as a group that led the seven members to terminate their contracts on August 11.
The matter comes after the "ANS Bullying Controversy" surfaced online, saying member Haena is experiencing bullying from her fellow bandmates. Thus, her revelation led the band to disband, which was announced on Instagram.
