Im Soo Hyang Talks About Her Character In 'When I Was The Most Beautiful'
An online press conference was held last August 19 together with the new drama director Oh Kyung Hoon and the actors, Im Soo Hyang, Ji Soo, Ha Seok Jin, and Hwan Seung Eon for the show "When I Was The Most Beautiful."
The "When I Was The Most Beautiful" is a heartbreaking story about two brothers who love the same woman. The woman who will be the object of love by the two brothers is Im Soo Hyang.
Im Soo Hyang will take on the role of Oh Ye Ji, a ceramic artist. Ji Soo and Ha Seok Jin will play the brothers, Soo Hwan and Seo Jin. Meanwhile, Hwang Seung Eon will embody Seo Jin's ex-girlfriend, Carrie Jung, who still has feelings.
Im Soo Hyang will be playing as Oh Ye Ji, an art teacher and the first love of Seo Hwa, and who will portray an overdramatic relationship with Seo Jin. She also revealed that she would become rivals with Carrie Jung.
Soo Hyang described her life as Oh Ye Ji, a girl who lived an unhappy life, and a thought came into her mind that she will never find happiness. But the two brothers arrived, and she finds joy and finds herself as a part of the family with them.
Oh Ye Ji is a girl who is a pure and utterly innocent character with a painful story. This drama will show how Oh Ye Ji matures as she continues her journey.
Lastly, Im Soo Hyang added that she read all four parts and was begging for the fifth as soon as she received the script as she was into the story. It was like a novel and a midsummer night dream, as she said.
Meanwhile, Im Soo Hyang once dreamed of becoming an actor while watching movies like "Pheonix" or "What Happened In Bali." And with this project, she reveals she felt the drama's emotions from the films she been watching.
