Jungkook Becomes First K-pop Solo Artist with Three Songs Simultaneously in Spotify's 'Top 10'
Global pop star Jungkook has set another new record.
According to the latest chart (dated October 20) released by Spotify, the world's largest streaming service, on October 21 (KST), three of BTS's Jungkook's solo singles have made their mark on the 'Daily Top Songs Global': 'Seven (feat. Latto)' (1st place), '3D (feat. Jack Harlow)' (9th place), and the collaboration track 'TOO MUCH' with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee (10th place). With this, Jungkook has become the first K-pop solo artist to simultaneously chart three songs in the top 10 of this chart.
'Seven' reclaimed its position at number one on the 'Daily Top Songs Global'. Since its release on July 14, 'Seven' directly topped the chart and continues to enjoy tremendous popularity, maintaining a position in the upper ranks for 99 days.
Jungkook will release his first solo album 'GOLDEN' worldwide at 1 pm on the 3rd of next month.
This album, inspired by the 'golden moments' of solo artist Jungkook, will feature a total of 11 songs, including the title track 'Standing Next to You' personally chosen by Jungkook, as well as 'Seven', '3D', and more. The album has also been promoted as having historical collaborations with renowned global musicians.
Leading up to the album release, Jungkook, who is rolling out various promotions, will unveil 'GOLDEN' THE TRACKS PART' 1 and 2 on the 26th and 27th.
Furthermore, a preview of 'GOLDEN' where parts of all songs from the album can be heard in advance will be showcased on the 31st.
