Former AOA Member Kwon Mina Deactivates Instagram Account + Jimin Deletes YouTube Contents
On August 11, Former AOA member Kwon Mina updated her Instagram with a heartfelt message informing her fans about her current situation and publicly apologized for her actions.
She stated in her post that she had spoken with CEO Han Sung Ho of FNC Entertainment to help alleviate any misinterpretation. "Today, I met the CEO, Han Sung Ho. I could hear his genuineness, and I regret that it all turned out this way." Mina recently posted an update in a self-harm article on August 8, calling out Jimin, Seolhyun, and Han Sung Ho.
Woori Actors, Kwon Mina's company, later revealed that she was released from the hospital on August 9, and is now under her mother's supervision. After learning this, FNC said, "We sincerely hope that Kwon Mina, who is experiencing the most difficult time, can restore her wellbeing immediately." (via Koreaboo)
After Mina's last update, it seems that her Instagram account has been deleted. Supporters believe that it would be better to disable her account because of the constant stress and negative remarks, so she can finally concentrate on rehabilitation.
JIMIN DELETES ALL YOUTUBE CONTENTS
Former AOA member Kwon Mina wrote many posts regarding AOA's former leader Jimin who mistreated her to the extent of having reoccurring nightmares about it. While Jimin apologized, Mina did not think it was sincere and criticized FNC Entertainment, for failing to take any measures throughout this period.
Eventually, Jimin agreed to withdraw from the band and opted to leave a post apologizing to Kwon Mina and the supporters on Instagram.
After the original statement, there were no more updates from Jimin; people have found she had removed all her clips down from her YouTube channel. With Jimin voluntarily departing the band AOA and from the entertainment industry as a whole, and removing all of her posts online, it appears she is now back to doing things as an ordinary citizen.
