BTS's Jin has once again showcased his unparalleled popularity in South America by securing the top spot on a popular Mexican radio weekly chart for the 13th time, following his success on Argentine radio.

On September 30th (local time), Jin's debut solo single "The Astronaut" clinched the number one spot on the 'Ranking House TOP30' chart hosted by Mexico's 'House Radio'. The song first entered the chart on May 20th (local time) and quickly jumped to the second spot by May 27th. By June 3rd, it had ascended to the top position.

On this chart, "The Astronaut" achieved consecutive number one rankings from June 3rd to June 10th, June 24th to July 1st, and then for five consecutive weeks from July 15th to August 12th. It also secured the top spot during the weeks of August 26th, September 9th, September 23rd, and September 30th, marking its 13th time at number one, proving Jin's immense popularity and unmatched presence in Mexico.

Not only in Mexico, but Jin also showcased his global appeal in Argentina, where "The Astronaut" has been reigning at number one for 47 weeks on 'Vega Radio's 'KPOP TOP40 Ranking'.

Released on October 28th of the previous year, "The Astronaut" has surpassed 251.21 million streams on Spotify as of October 2nd. Its music video is also approaching 100 million views with over 92.75 million streams.

"The Astronaut" is a heartfelt gift from Jin to his fans before his military enlistment. The track is characterized by its gentle acoustic guitar melody and captivating synthesizer sound. Known for his powerful high notes and belting, often referred to as the "high note master," Jin showcases a softer yet solid mid-low range in "The Astronaut."
