BTS Jin's 'The Astronaut' Dominates Spotify's UAE Charts

BTS's Jin is shining brightly on the global music scene as his single, 'The Astronaut', clinched the top spot on Spotify's UAE chart, showcasing his unstoppable momentum.

Jin's debut solo single, 'The Astronaut', ascended to the first position on Spotify's 'Daily Top Song UAE' chart dated August 13th.

Since its release on October 28th of the previous year, 'The Astronaut' initially entered the 'Daily Top Song UAE' chart at the 6th position, maintaining its consistent popularity. Following a re-entry at 61st place on April 27th, the song demonstrated an impressive climb, reigning at number one for five consecutive days starting from May 15th, highlighting its remarkable resurgence.

Throughout July, the track consistently stayed within the upper ranks of the 'Daily Top Song UAE' chart, securing the top spot on July 2nd, 6th, and 11th, further solidifying Jin's formidable global presence.

'The Astronaut' heated up the UAE as it maintained the top position on Spotify's 'Weekly Top Song UAE' chart for two consecutive weeks starting from June 29th to July 6th. After achieving the weekly number one spot on May 18th, the song persistently stayed within the top three, proving soloist Jin's considerable influence.

On the day of its release, Jin was recognized on Spotify's 'Global Top Artist' and 'Japan Top Artist' charts. Concurrently, 'The Astronaut' debuted at the 17th position on the Spotify 'Daily Top Song Global' chart, marking its presence for 37 days.

As of August 17th, 'The Astronaut' has garnered over 218.16 million streams on Spotify. The track achieved 10 million streams in just three days, 50 million streams in 22 days, and 100 million streams in 72 days, setting the fastest record for a Korean male K-pop solo track.

Presented as a gift to fans before his military enlistment last year, 'The Astronaut' continues to make stellar achievements on various global charts, filling Jin's military hiatus period with accolades and further cementing his status as a 'Global Superstar'.
