BTS Jungkook Captivates Fans Worldwide with Unplugged Live Performance Despite a Cold: 'Sorry, the Server Crashed haha'
BTS Jungkook captivated fans around the world with an unplugged live performance of his new solo song 'Seven' during a personal broadcast.
On July 18, Jungkook interacted with fans worldwide via a personal live broadcast titled '7Daymmmmmmn' on the fan community platform Weverse.
That day, Jungkook appeared displaying symptoms of a cold, such as a slightly hoarse voice, cough, and runny nose. He confessed, "I'm going crazy because of this runny nose," and "This cold started from my throat and moved up to my nose. Now I have a mix of phlegm and a runny nose. It's quite tough."
Jungkook then expressed his joy about the successful reception of his recently released song, saying, "I knew the reaction would be good" and "I just trust my gut feelings," highlighting how he was instantly attracted to working on 'Seven.'
Upon a fan's request to sing 'Seven' in the comment section, Jungkook started an impromptu live performance, capturing fans with his melodious pop voice and husky honey-like tone. Despite being under the weather, Jungkook showcased his perfect singing abilities and an excellent sense of rhythm, even effortlessly managing high notes in falsetto. He added beatboxing and freely switched pitches, delivering a unique rendition of 'Seven' and drawing admiration from his audience.
In a playful move, Jungkook teased his fans by deliberating whether to sing the 'Clean Version' or the 'Explicit Version' of 'Seven' that contains explicit lyrics. He also showed his wit by replacing specific lyrics of the rap part performed by famous American rapper Latto, who featured on the song, with "blah blah."
Toward the end of the broadcast, Jungkook, confessing his sleepiness, stated, "Today's listening party was really fun. I am always grateful to the ARMYs who always support my solo activities and send a lot of love. Thanks to you all, I am having very happy days. I am truly thankful. I will repay you with good songs and awesome performances." He then concluded the broadcast.
Jungkook expressed his surprise when the server for the streaming party he was hosting that day crashed due to the massive participation of fans. He wrote on Weverse, "Sorry, the server crashed haha."
