NewJeans' Bold Transformation: Elegant Ballerina Comeback
The group NewJeans is unveiling a ballerina concept.
NewJeans (Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein) released photos from their second mini-album 'Get Up' on their official SNS channel at midnight on June 28th.
In the photos, NewJeans showcases an elegant and innocent charm, evoking the image of ballerinas with chiffon outfits and pointe shoes.
The teaser for the music video of 'ASAP', a track from the album, soared to number 1 on YouTube's trending worldwide chart as soon as it was released on the 27th. The blonde-transformed image of NewJeans and the dreamy sound captured the eyes and ears of global fans.
As of 8 am on the 28th, the teaser has exceeded 3.25 million views on YouTube, ranking 1st in Korea's YouTube trending videos. It also reached 4th place in the United States, the world's largest pop market.
NewJeans' second mini-album 'Get Up' is set to be released on July 21st.
The album includes a total of six songs, including the triple title tracks 'Super Shy', 'ETA', 'Cool With You', as well as 'New Jeans', 'Get Up', and 'ASAP'.
NewJeans has produced music videos for all six tracks on the album. There are collaborations with global brands such as 'Powerpuff Girls', and unexpected surprise guest appearances to look forward to.
Ahead of the album release, NewJeans will hold their first fan meeting 'Bunnies Camp' at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, for two days on July 1st and 2nd. The songs and music videos for 'Super Shy' and 'New Jeans' will be pre-released on the 7th of the same month.
