The veil is finally lifted off the OST for 'Bastions'.

AleXa and Seo.J lend their voices to two tracks from the 3D action hero animation 'Bastions' (produced by Thymos Media), both of which will be released today at 6 p.m. through various online music sites.

'Shining Star', featuring AleXa, is a disco track that merges tropical pluck sounds and synth sounds with a strong drum beat. AleXa's addictive vocals that come after the thrilling intro give the refreshing feeling of departing on a long-awaited journey.

'Like a Fool', featuring SeoJei, is an R&B ballad that highlights the poignant lyrics and SeoJei's rich emotional vocals. It will leave a deep resonance and a lasting impression on listeners, providing a contrasting mood to AleXa's 'Shining Star'.

Last May, AleXa won the American Song Contest on NBC, thereby ascending as a new global icon. Powered by the warm local response, she attended the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, one of the top three music awards in the US, further showcasing her fiery presence, and continues to receive love from fans both at home and abroad.

Seo.J, after debuting in the music scene in 2008 with her single album 'I Hate Love', has been consistently active in music, participating in various albums as well as drama OSTs like 'Bride of the Storm', 'My Life is Rowing', and 'The Dumplings of Love'. Notably, she is garnering attention as the 'Celine Dion of Korea' due to her explosive high notes and overwhelming stage command.

'Bastions' is a 3D action hero animation that tells the story of rookie heroes appearing in the fiercely competitive hero world, who uncover the identity of the villain responsible for environmental destruction, save the endangered earth, and grow into true heroes.

By incorporating the keyword 'environmental pollution', which has emerged as a global issue and the absolute villain of the 21st century, into the hero world of the work, it not only delivers fun and a message simultaneously, but also showcases a strong differentiation by initiating the first-ever collaboration with K-pop in Korea. The first broadcast on the 14th added anticipation for future developments by presenting a thrilling story and dynamic action.

Meanwhile, 'Bastions' is aired every Sunday at 7:30 a.m. on SBS. It is broadcast every Saturday night at 11:30 p.m. on Japan's TBS channel, and every Sunday at 12:45 a.m. KST on the American streaming service Crunchyroll, reaching global fans.
