Actress Kim Sae Ron of South Korea is under investigation after a car accident. She was reportedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to media outlet reports, the celebrity was caught drunk driving after the police received seven reports about her car, which was seen to be wildly swerving on the road in the district of Cheongdam in Gangnam.

The actress was apprehended after she hit an electricity box and even tried to flee from the scene. She then asked for a blood test at the hospital when the police tried to carry out a breath analyzer test on her.

More details from the area of the incident revealed that the actress had hit an electric transformer box located on the side of the road. She hit it hard multiple times, causing the box to get uprooted and completely destroyed.

According to some witnesses, Kim Sae Ron hit the box multiple times that made loud noises and they were surprised that the box did not explode due to the multiple hard impacts. Moreover, the actress did not step out of her vehicle to check the damage, rather she tried to escape from the scene.

There are also reports of there being a co-passenger in the car, if that is indeed true, then they can also be charged. Due to the damage caused by the actress to the electricity box, numerous buildings in the area faced a power outage, and the area had a traffic light outage too.

In fact, some businesses in the area reported an outage in their payment processing system as well, leading the staying shut down until the situation was restored to normal. Technicians took nearly five hours to fix the damaged electricity box.

The actress's agency Gold Medalist released an official statement, which did not apologize for the mayhem but tried to elaborate on what the police said.

As per the agency, the actress took a blood test to get accurate results. She was escorted home by her guardian after the test without any additional investigation.

Gold Medalist also stated that the blood test results will be out in two weeks and the actress will be diligently participating in the questioning by the police

21-year-old Kim Sae Ron embarked on her career when she was just nine years of age, starring in movies such as "A Brand New Life" and "The Man From Nowhere". Recently, in April 2022, she was cast as Kim Soo-bin in "Trolley", the upcoming SBS TV series.
