The Surge In Number Of Followers Of BLACKPINK
Recently, K-Pop Radar published the 2020 finalization rankings. The said ranking reviewed various groups of artists on major social platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. This year the superstar quartet BLACKPINK showed outstanding growth.
On Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, BLACKPINK has soared by approximately 21,300,000 followers in just one year. Except for the group's newly opened and less updated Twitter accounts, the number of followers of their other accounts exceeded 10 million people.
More to the mesmerizing growth of BLACKPINK's fans, on YouTube, BLACKPINK has now 54,500,000 subscribers. This year alone, three MVs have received the badge of 1 billion views, and seven MVs have each exceeded the 200 to 900 million views.
Active Interaction Is The Key
K-Pop Radar shared a statement based on their analysis of BLACKPINK's popularity. They said that although the group has not only opened a new official Twitter, each member is also very active in interacting with fans on Instagram.
This has created a significant impact on their increasing fandom number. The "actively interacting with fans" feature is positive. "This is one of the reasons why fans around the world are crazy about K-Pop," the platform added.
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment also announced that "BLACKPINK 2021 SEASON'S GREETINGS" has been open for pre-order. Calendars, pocketbooks, notebooks, photo cards, and more are added to their three regular products. Don't dare miss it, BLINKS!
