Lee Joon Gi will thrill k-drama fans with his portrayal of an intricate role in the new tvN drama "Flower of Evil."

TvN has already released a glimpse of Lee Joon Gi's character, and with the short stills, it appears that the new drama series has an exciting and thrilling plot.

According to Soompi, "Flower of Evil" tells a story of Baek Hee Sung (Lee Joon Gi), a man who tries to bury his past and pretends to love his wife Cha Ji Won (Moon Chae Won). As a detective, his wife begins to grow suspicions with his husband and will try to unearth the truth behind his shadows. They will soon find themselves standing in front of the reality they don't wish to face.

Playing as the metal craftsman Baek Hee Sung, Lee Joon Gi takes the role of a tamed husband dedicated to his wife and daughter. Earning enough for his family, he is a picture of an ideal husband and father, Hellokpop reported.

Despite having a seemingly happy family, his psychopathic tendencies remain apparent. He is indifferent and struggles to feel emotions.

Expectations run high for Lee and Moon's reunion drama as the two prepare to work on the problematic dilemma raised in the story.

In the behind-the-scenes video of the actor shared by his agency- NamooActors during the photoshoot for the official poster of his upcoming drama, the actor showed professionalism as he quickly changed his facial expressions from waving and smiling to a serious-faced character as required in his role.

Lee Joon Gi seems cold on camera, but when he's not filming, he's playful and sweet to the cast and crew, Soompi reported.

During a break, he explains in the behind-the-scenes video, "I'm here for the poster photoshoot for our upcoming drama 'Flower of Evil.' It was just like yesterday when we had our first shoot here. We've already been filming for two to three months, and it's already time to shoot for the posters. The whole thing somehow feels new to me." Then he praises the crew members of the set for doing their job well.
