BTS's Jungkook Unveils 'GOLDEN' Track Poster: Sensuous Design Resembling an Exhibition
The 'global pop star' Jungkook has unveiled the first track poster for his debut solo album.
At midnight on October 26th (Korean Standard Time), Jungkook posted 'GOLDEN THE TRACKS' PART 1 on BTS's official SNS.
In this track poster, fans can get a sneak peek at some of the lyrics and the mood of the songs from the solo album 'GOLDEN,' which will be released worldwide at 1 PM on the 3rd of next month. The posters also reveal details about the musicians involved in producing or featuring on each track.
The track poster consists of six songs, starting from track one, '3D (feat. Jack Harlow),' followed by 'Closer to You (feat. Major Lazer),' 'Seven (feat. Latto),' 'Standing Next to You,' 'Yes or No,' and 'Please Don't Change (feat. DJ Snake).' Each poster captures attention with its sensuous colors and design, giving the impression of viewing an art exhibition when all six individual posters are viewed together.
The first track, '3D,' is an R&B pop song harmonizing minimal instrumentals and a sophisticated rhythm with an old-school sound. 'Closer to You' is an R&B track with a reggaeton rhythm, featuring the popular EDM group Major Lazer.
'Seven' blends an addictive melody with the warm sound of an acoustic guitar and the rhythm of the 'UK garage' genre, presenting a passionate serenade.
The title track, 'Standing Next to You,' showcases Jungkook's groovy vocals in a retro funk song. Through this title song, Jungkook promises to deliver a 'complete performance,' presenting a stage performance of historical proportions.
'Yes or No' impresses with Ed Sheeran's unique sentiment and guitar play, while 'Please Don't Change' combines Afropop with DJ Snake to produce an electronic dance pop track.
Of the total 11 songs included in the album, the track posters for the remaining songs not included in PART 1 will be additionally revealed on the 27th.
With a range of genres and moods, 'GOLDEN' is an album inspired by the 'golden moments' of solo artist Jungkook. He was heavily involved in the entire production process of his debut solo album, handpicking all the tracks. Through collaborations with global artists, he has created a highly refined album.
Along with the release of 'GOLDEN,' Jungkook plans various activities domestically and internationally. On the 20th of next month at 8 PM, he will hold a fan showcase 'Jung Kook 'GOLDEN' Live On Stage' at Jangchung Gymnasium in Jung-gu, Seoul, preparing opportunities to meet closely with fans.
