BTS Jungkook Teases Anticipated Solo Album in Audacy Music Interview
BTS's Jungkook has stoked excitement with his recent expressions of confidence about his upcoming solo album. Jungkook appeared on one of America's leading radio stations, Audacy's 'Audacy Music'.
Upon his appearance, he was warmly welcomed by the host and captured attention with his lively and sincere answers to all the questions posed.
When asked about his forthcoming solo album, Jungkook revealed, "Nothing is set in stone yet. But I'm continuously working, and I believe there's a possibility of a great outcome." He confidently added, "Please wait just a bit longer. I genuinely believe we might have an amazing album on the way."
Answering a question about the most surprising aspect of his solo career so far, Jungkook shared, "Being abroad and pursuing solo activities was a first for me. There were many new things to learn, and I felt a lot of positivity realizing 'It's achievable as I do it'. This experience has ignited a desire in me to explore even more diverse challenges."
When questioned on how he aims to make his solo activities unique and special, he responded, "Rather than chasing after something unique, I hope that giving my best in everything I do will naturally make it special. I don't want to chase after anything. I anticipate experimenting with various styles with this single. I'd like things to naturally become special, and I'll work hard to make them stand out."
On what he's learned about himself during his solo activities, Jungkook commented, "I think I do better than I thought," further noting, "Monitoring both in Korea and overseas, I've gained a lot of confidence seeing the recognition. I've felt the essence of 'With effort, it's achievable'. And I think I might even be capable of acting," hinting at a possible interest in taking on acting roles.
In his closing remarks to the ARMY fanbase, Jungkook said, "It took a while for the solo single to come out, and I'm sorry for the wait. But because of that time, I believe I was able to produce such a great track. Whatever the future holds, if you keep waiting and watching, I promise to reward your patience and endurance. I want to express my gratitude to the fans who always wait. I'll strive to always provide comfort and energy through my music."
On a side note, with his song 'Seven', Jungkook made a stunning entry at number one on the U.S. music chart, Billboard Hot 100, maintaining his position in the top 30 for three consecutive weeks. He also became the first and longest-standing Asian solo artist to simultaneously top the 'Global 200' and 'Global Excl. U.S.' charts for three straight weeks, proving his global popularity and acclaim.
