Comedian Lee Ji-Soo has taken her final bow.

On July 13, Korean Time, Lee Ji-Soo's funeral was held at the Shinwha Funeral Hall on Yeongjung-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

On July 12, Lee Ji-Soo's older sister revealed to Star News that "my sister was found (deceased) in her apartment on the 9th", adding "we don't know the exact time of death". According to her, Lee Ji-Soo had recently visited the hospital due to a high fever and was diagnosed with nephritis. After being discharged on the 4th, no contact had been made from the 6th, and she was eventually found deceased in her apartment.

The family conducted an autopsy to ascertain the precise cause of death. The National Forensic Service has completed the autopsy, and the family is awaiting the results.

Colleagues and acquaintances were plunged into deep grief by the sudden news of Lee Ji-Soo's passing. The team behind tvN's comedy program 'Comedy Big League', in which the deceased had appeared and thrived, left a memorial message stating, "We remember comedian Lee Ji-Soo, who was more sincere about laughter than anyone. We will not forget your passion for comedy. We pray for the repose of your soul."

Lee Ji-Soo, a comedian from the 'Yoon Hyung-bin Theater,' was known to have been selected for the crew of the KBS 2TV comedy program 'Gag Concert,' scheduled to air this year-end. Upon hearing of Lee Ji-Soo's death, comedian Yoon Hyung-bin expressed his deep despair, telling Star News, "We spent a long time together, and she was selected as a crew member for 'Gag Concert,' so we were all excited for her to achieve even bigger dreams, this is truly heartbreaking."

Lee Ji-Soo gained recognition by appearing in the tvN comedy program 'Comedy Big League' in 2021. She also featured in various segments on 'Comedy Big League,' including 'Oak Tree Entertainment,' 'Covik Enter,' 'Oak University,' 'Rotary Lantern,' 'My Business Diary,' and 'GalaSHOW.'

Meanwhile, Lee Ji-Soo's final resting place is the Seoul Municipal Seunghwa Cemetery.
