BLACKPINK's Jisoo's dance performance video for 'FLOWER' has surpassed 100 million views.
According to YG Entertainment on July 8, Jisoo's 'FLOWER' dance performance video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube around 10:25 PM the previous day, approximately 92 days since its release on April 6.
This achievement marks the 43rd time BLACKPINK content has garnered hundreds of millions of views, and it is the 17th time for their dance performance videos.
Jisoo's title track 'FLOWER' from her first solo album 'ME' stands out with its unique bass sound and minimalistic arrangement. The music video shot straight to number one on YouTube's worldwide trending list upon release, achieved 100 million views in just seven days, and currently has over 300 million views.
'FLOWER' has also achieved remarkable results on various global charts, not just on YouTube. It topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 64 countries, including the United States, and also reached number two on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts.
Furthermore, it reached sixth place on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global chart, 38th on the UK's Official Singles Top 100 chart, and set a new record for K-pop female solo artists by surpassing 100 million streams on Spotify in just 32 days. The album 'ME', which includes this track, became the first K-pop female solo artist album to achieve 'Million Seller' status by selling 1,172,351 copies within a week.
