Lee Yoo Ri Will Do Anything To Be Her Daughter's Mother Again In 'Lie After Lie'
New posters of main characters have been released for Channel A's suspense melodrama 'Lie After Lie.'
Per Soompi, 'Lie After Lie' talks about a woman who begins a false romance to become her biological daughter's stepmother. Her daughter was departed from her and was adopted by another man after birth. The cast of the Friday-Saturday drama includes Lee Yoo Ri, Lee Il Hwa, Yeon Jung Hoon, Im Joo Eun, and Kwon Hwa Woon.
Lee Yoo Ri will play as Ji Eun Soo, a daughter-in-law of a chaebol family who finds herself transformed into a husband-killer in a single moment. She delivered a child while she was in prison, which was adopted by someone else. After being set free, she will do everything to become her child's mother again, whatever it takes.
The newly released poster contains text that reads, "Love, there's nothing I can't do." Lee Yoo Ri appears solemn on the photo with a burning heart that drives her to do anything for her daughter.
Playing the role of Kang Ji Min is Yeon Jung Hoon, a TV reporter who has a warm heart but appears cold on the outside. He is known to be a firm supporter of those considered social outcasts—a trusted reporter on TV, but a single father at home. Yeon Jung Hoon's poster contains, "I believe your lies," with a slight smile on his face.
Moreover, surrounding the leads includes Lee II Hwa taking up the role of a CEO of a makeup company, D.O cosmetics. She will also be Ji Eun Soo's mother in law, and tense confrontations between the two are set to happen. In Lee II, Hwa's poster says a statement; "Where did it start to go wrong?"
Joo Eun is also a cast of the drama. Her poster reads, "I wanted to see you even if it meant going to these lengths." She will play the role of Eun Se Mi, the ex-wife of Kang Ji Min. Things go awry after she gets involved.
Meanwhile, Kwon Hwa Woon will play an innocent and honest man when it comes to love named Kim Yeon Joon. His poster reads, "I'll protect you from now on."
'Lie After Lie' airs on September 4 at 10:50 PM, KST.
