Lisa, a member of the widely popular K-pop group Blackpink, has delighted her followers with a fresh dance video on Instagram, where she grooves to Sabrina Carpenter's viral hit "Nonsense."

On Monday, Lisa, Blackpink's renowned dancer, engaged her fans with back-to-back updates on her Instagram account. Along with snapshots from a pottery workshop, images from Thailand, and pictures of her beloved cat, she uploaded a video dancing to the catchy tune of Sabrina Carpenter.

Captioning the monochrome dance video, Lisa initially posted, "The reason for sleeping late." She then shared a shorter snippet, seemingly a blooper, adding just emojis as the caption.

 

The dance video quickly caught fire on social media, with fans and entertainment portals swiftly downloading and sharing it on Twitter before it vanished from Lisa's Instagram Stories.

With over 225,000 views and 10,000 likes already garnered, the reposted video sparked excitement among Sabrina Carpenter's fans as well. "Omg! Sabrina is losing her mind," one fan reacted, with another enthusiastically adding, "I love her [Sabrina]. I can't wait for [her] moments with Lisa!"

Pop Base's repost of the video managed to amass over 1.2 million views, with fans eager to see Sabrina's reaction. "SABRINA IS GOING TO FREAK OUT. OMG," a fan posted, prompting another to respond, "IKR? I NEED to see her response to this, preferably in a video."

As an avowed fan of Blackpink, or a "Blink," as fans of the group are known, American singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter is expected to be thrilled. Speaking candidly about her admiration for the K-pop sensation in a May MTV interview, she gushed, "Anyone who knows me knows that I love Blackpink."

The "Girl Meets World" star expressed her excitement to share the stage with Blackpink at the BST Hyde Park concert, stating, "I've been a fan of them for the longest time, and to perform with them at Hyde Park is going to be a dream."

Blackpink unveiled its BST Hyde Park concert in March, set to headline London's Summer Festival on July 2, 2023, where Sabrina Carpenter will also perform, along with South Korean band The Rose and English pop singers Caity Baser and Mae Stephens.

Carpenter fulfilled a dream last year, snapping a photo with Blackpink's Rosé at the Video Music Awards After Party. Now, fans are eagerly awaiting her response to Lisa's viral dance video.
