BabyMonster is the girl group that YG Entertainment is launching almost seven years after BLACKPINK. The group consists of members from Korea (Ah-Hyun, Ha-Ram, RoRa), Thailand (Pharita, Chiquita), and Japan (Luca, Asa), earning the self-evaluation of 'all-rounder' as they are well-versed in vocals, dance, rap, and visuals.

Even before their debut, as trainees, they broke the record for the shortest time for a K-pop girl group to reach 2 million subscribers on YouTube in just 129 days. They have also surpassed 400 million accumulated views on their teaser content, hinting at an early popularity storm. American Billboard selected them as 'K-Pop Artists to Watch', predicting that they "will create a new wave in the K-pop genre".
