James Lee Proves He Is An All-Rounder Artist On His Latest Solo Album 'Castles'
James Lee’s awesomeness once again arrived!
The 32-year-old Korean/American singer, and a former member of Royal Pirates, James Lee, is climbing his way to the top by bomb-dropping his second mini-album entitled ‘Castles.’ As he carries on his healing and recovery, the artist once again proved that he is multi-talented as his EP sings of a melancholic summer, perfect for late-night summer road trips.
‘Castles’ bottles up seven tracks, including a lead track of the same name. Per Hellokpop, the songs sing of a deeper meaning version that depicts an “in-depth” angle into Lee’s artistry as he touches and moves themes of love, heartaches, and sad goodbyes. Moreover, the album is multi-faceted in genres like EDM, acoustic, rock, and pop.
“CASTLES is a milestone in my career that expresses the growth I’ve had as a writer and a producer,” Lee said in a statement about the alpha of ‘Castles.’ He then added that his previous EP is a collaborative effort of some “fantastic producers, but his newly released ‘Castles’ is his craft where he trusted himself.
In a Cheat Sheet report, Lee made known his EP on July 31 (Friday), following his first release in 2018 for ‘The Light.’
The album itself shines so brightly through its intricacies that it widely speaks of a profound sentiment of the singer is aiming to encourage people to make the most of life. Per Lee, he wants the listeners of his album will be able to deeper understand the more in-depth details through its arrangement and lyrics. He also added that his growing up process is one of his inspirations in writing each record.
Furthermore, Lee is preparing a special surprise for his beloved fans in celebration of ‘Castles’ launch success. In his official Patreon account, Lee urged his fans to provide their names to include it in ‘Liar’s’ musical video credits.
