BLACKPINK's Jennie and High School Friend? 'Lying Villain Claims Connection with Famous Celebrity'
A person claiming to be a high school friend of BLACKPINK's Jennie and a "lying villain" has emerged.
On the MBN entertainment show "Office Villain," which aired at 10:45 pm on April 17, a person appeared who lied every time they opened their mouth. This individual claimed to have a special friendship with Jennie and confessed that their boyfriend is a well-known second-generation chaebol (wealthy family) and they are secretly dating.
However, it turned out that all of these claims were lies. Shin Dong-yeob joked, "Nowadays, it should be third or fourth-generation chaebol... second-generation chaebol would be over 70 years old." Nevertheless, the "lying villain" did not stop at boasting, causing the "Villain Detection Team" to frown in displeasure.
The show's satirical commentary pointed out a characteristic of those who boast about their connection with famous people, saying, "There is a feature in such boasting; they always mention the celebrity's real name." In response, Hong Hyun-hee confessed she also proudly uses the real name of her acquaintance, saying, "I feel so targeted. I knew Hyun Bin (his real name, Tae-pyung) since high school, and even now, I still call him 'Ah, Tae-pyung?' by myself," causing laughter on the show.
