2021 has been a great year for K-pop, with South-Korean artists teaming up with both internationally and domestically acclaimed singers, musicians, and DJs to come up with some truly spectacular collaborations.

Here are some of the best K-pop collaborations of the year.

BTS

The year has truly belonged to K-pop megastars BTS in all spheres, including collabs. The seven-member band collaborated with "Shape Of You" singer Ed Sheeran for the foot-tapping track "Permission To Dance".

After that, they teamed up with American rapper Megan Thee Stallion to release the chart-busting remix of "Butter". Checking off a trio of collaborations, next the band got together with rockstars Coldplay to release the song "My Universe".

BLACKPINK's Lisa

Lisa from BLACKPINK has been having quite a breakthrough year with her debut as a soloist and releasing the album "LALISA". However, that's not all, she joined forces with Ozuna, DJ Snake, and Megan Thee Stallion to drop the hit number "SG", a song with both English and Spanish lyrics.

TXT and ENHYPEN

Friends and labelmates from HYBE ENHYPEN and TXT set the stage on fire at the '2021 KBS Song Festival' with their special collaboration. The two South Korean bands performed songs from eight groups, including BTS and H.O.T. The artists' fans love the on-stage collaboration.

Taeyeon from Girl's Generation with Key and Taemin from SHINee

Taeyeon collaborated with both Key and Taemin respectively for different projects. Taeyeon and Taemin worked on the R&B song "If I Could Tell You". Taeyeon also teamed up with Key on "Hate That".

Stray Kids With CORSAK and Alesso

Stray Kids teamed with CORSAK and multi-platinum record holder Alesso on a catchy song for the PlayerUnknown's Battleground Mobile (PUBG Mobile) game titled "Going Dumb".

Eric Nam and Armaan Malik

Eric Nam worked with Indian artist Armaan Malik for "Echo", and EDM track along with KSHMR. The track has been described as the first of its kind collaboration between K-pop and I-pop.

ATEEZ's Jongho, Yunho, and San with Pentatonix

The three K-pop stars did a collab with American a capella group Pentatonix for "A Little Space", a remix version of the former's song.

Seulgi of RED VELVET X NCT'S TAEYONG

The two artists did a dance collab in 2017, and now in 2021 they delivered a duet song "Rose". The duo also dropped a snippet of them grooving to NCT U's Make A Wish".
