Shin Hyun Joon's managing label HJ Film has issued another update about allegations of maltreatment made by the former manager of Shin Hyun Joon.

According to Soompi, the former manager, Kim Gwang Seob, was allegedly mistreated by Shin Hyun Joon for thirteen years. This would include occasions where he was underpaid, disrespectfully spoken to, compelled to accept, and take care of the mother of Shin Hyun Joon and deny a written agreement.

Kim Gwang Seob disclosed a chain of exchanged phone messages between him and Shin Hyun Joon, from July 13. In 2012, they addressed phone messages about a fan conference in Japan.

Shin Hyun Joon asked Kim Gwang Seob to arrange the fan conference and address how the profits will be distributed. Kim Gwang Seob answered, "How much have I got?" Shin Hyun Joon only said, "We'll see how you're doing."

In another set of messages about his job, Shin Hyun Joon demanded Kim Gwang Seob, "Any great news?" in nine identical text messages in 10 minutes.

After Kim Gwang Seob didn't respond, Shin Hyun Joon sent recurring messages asking, "Why aren't you contacting me?" He also texted, "If I land this, I'll pay you right away," "Hurry up and contact JTBC." Shin Hyun Joon continued to send at least six messages in the space of one minute that all read, "How did it go??"

A spokesperson from the company Shin Hyun Joon reported to Xportsnews, "It's a ridiculous argument." Shin Hyun Joon said, "If there's any unpleasant sentiments or complaints we haven't addressed, We should have met and spoken regarding it in person, so that's a shame."

They stated that they had been lifelong friends (Shin Hyun Joon and Kim Gwang Seob) who had gotten through it without formalities. Shin Hyun Joon's managing label issued a formal statement on July 13 in which they announced that civil action would be taken.

First, in different ways, we sincerely apologize to be raising concern. It took us a lot of time to grasp the facts and obtain information about something that transpired to Kim Gwang Seob ten years ago.

We can't resist but cope with this very carefully and act ahead of the public unveiling of the family of artist Shin Hyun Joon, so we don't hurt the relatives of the artist and those who are striving hard to build the series [KBS's "The Return of Superman"].
