Lee Do Hyun Talks About How He Handles His Roles In Drama Series Effectively
The promising star Lee Do Hyun is currently winning many hearts with his superb performance in the ongoing drama 18 Again. He recently revealed his most significant strength in an interview when it comes to acting in rom-com.
18 Again is currently one of Korea's airing dramas, which have captured the viewers' attention for its slice of life vibe. The story is based on the 2009 film of Zac Efron titled 17 Again by Jason Filardi.
Ha Byung Hoon directed the JTBC drama and was penned by Ahn Eun Bin, Choi Yi Ryool, and Kim Do Yeon. Along with Lee Do Hyun as the lead role are actors Kim Ha Neul and Yoon Sang Hyun.
Lee Do Hyun's Strength In Rom-Com Roles
Lee Do Hyun's charismatic portrayal in the drama has hooked the viewers and his fans, where he plays the 18-year-old Hong Dae Young.
In an interview with the actor with 1st Look, Lee Do Hyun was expressed his strength as a rom-com star when asked regarding the matter. The 25-year-old actor then revealed that no matter how cheesy his lines are, he can still deliver them in a way that feels light and not too awkward.
Furthermore, he added that he tries his best to figure out ways to make viewers enjoy and accept the kinds of lines he is throwing. So that when the viewers think, "Wow, that's so cheesy, how can you say things like that," they can also say, "I like that."
During the interview with 1st Look, the Hotel del Luna star also shared that he closely observed and studied Sang Hyun, who played the 37-year-old version of Dae Young.
He divulged that he closely observes how Sang Hyun walked and even the shape of his hands when he is holding his cell phone. He added that studies even the smallest details of his counterpart.
