Ice Cream's music video hits 350 million views

The South Korean all-girl group's music video for its sweet track Ice Cream has reached a whopping 350 million views on Youtube's international video streaming platform. Specifically, BLACKPINK was able to achieve the milestone on October 19 (Monday).

BLINKS worldwide are celebrating their idols' impressive feat on Youtube by flooding tweets and post regarding the phenomenon. Moreover, the music video wouldn't be successful without the Disney alum and American pop star Selena Gomez.

The music video for Ice Cream, released on August 28, hails as the eight entry of BLACKPINK to its 350 million music video Hall of Fame.

It follows the music videos of the femme fatale who first reached the milestone, such as Playing with Fire, Whistle, DDU-DU DDU-DU, BOOMBAYAH, As If It's Your Last, How You Like That, and Kill This Love.

As mentioned above, the fun music video of Ice Cream was made known by BLACKPINK and Selena on August 28. The track is a part of the K-pop group's first full-length studio album entitled The Album, alongside another pre-release track called How You Like That.

The mesmerizing song's lyrics are curated by Ariana Grande, Selena, Tommy Brown, teddy, Bekuh Boom, Victoria Monet, Steven Franks, and 24.

Furthermore, the track earned coveted top spots in various music charts from across the globe. In particular, the song debuted at number 13 on the renowned US Billboard Hot 100, making it the group's first entry in the top 20 list.

The music video was released under the official Youtube channel of BLACKPINK, which earned 79.08 million views in just 24 hours. The filming process took place separately due to the travel restriction caused by the COVID-19 global pandemic.
