Seo In Guk To Return To The Small Screen After Controversial Military Exemption
Seo In Guk set to return to the small screen after his controversial military enlistment two years ago!
In the upcoming drama written by Im Maeari, "One Day, Destruction Came In Through The Door," Seo In Guk will enter as the lead character. The writer of the drama was an assistant to Kim Eun Sook and the brilliant writer behind JTBC's 2018 hit series, "Beauty Inside."
Confirmed on July 1, "Destruction" is about a character who has led a tumultuous life, but with a twist of fate, real "destruction" comes into his life, as stated in Allkpop.
Seo In Guk will play the role of Kim Sa Ram, born between the dark and the light. He was born between dark and the light: when he breathes, countries disappear; where he walks, seasons collapse; when he smiles, life is extinguished. All he has to do is exist for something to fall into ruin. This is not his intention, but merely his fate. He forms a relationship with Tak Dong Gyung, who curses the whole world, and drags "Ruin" into her life with her fierce desire to live, Soompi reported.
The main character will have a terminal life of 100 days, but he will strive to live even in his tragic fate.
Park Bo Young has been offered to play as Tak Dong Gyung but has not confirmed yet.
"Destruction" will be Seo In Guk's first role on the small screen after his mandatory enlistment controversy two years ago. He was diagnosed with Osteochondritis Dissecans after he fractured his ankle two days before his enlistment, excusing him from serving the military.
Seo In Guk is a singer and actor. He debuted his singing career after winning in the 2009's talent reality show Superstar K. He finally made his breakthrough after his acting stint in Reply 1997. His latest project was the drama "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes," where he showed his excellent acting prowess.
