Four Youth-Oriented Shows In The Monday-Tuesday Timeslot Battle For Viewership Ratings
After a long wait, JTBC's "18 Again" and KBS "Zombie Detective" has finally made their premiere last Monday and Tuesday night!
In terms of viewership ratings, it is going to be a head-to-head competition as these refreshing dramas collide with the two youth-oriented shows, tvN's "Record of Youth" and SBS's "Do You Like Brahms?"
On September 21, tvN's "Record of Youth" prevailed to take the lead in its time slot, with 7.8 percent average nationwide ratings. The drama already aired its 5th episode, unveiling Hye Joon's (played by Park Bo Gum) admission of his feelings to Jung Ha (played by Park So Dam).
The drama, to add more good vibes to its story, has also released a new OST. And as the three characters aspired to get to know one another, they developed a more well-built friendship.
On the other hand, "Do You Like Brahms" has made an average of 4.4 and 5.8 percent, achieving its best ratings so far.
The main characters, Joon Young (played by Kim Min Jae) and Song Ah (played by Park Eun Bin), are trying to hide their feelings for each other, even though the people surrounding them are already thinking that they are dating. Jung Kyung (played by Park Ji Hyun) is trying to get close to Joon Kyung again.
KBS' "Zombie Detective" premiered on September 21 and set the thrill as it scored an average nationwide rating of 2.9 and 3.6%. In the pilot episode, Kim Moo Young (Choi Jin Hyuk) met his match after being chased by Gong Sun Ji (Park Joo Hyun) and children. It is going to be a fun match as he got caught and outnumbered by humans!
Finally, JTBC's "18 Again" premiere scored a modest rating of 1.753%. Viewers will be witnessing the refreshing high schoolers, with Dae Young (played by Lee Do Hyun) and Da Jung (played by Han So Eun), as they get entangled with challenges in their relationship and parents.
JTBC's "18 Again," KBS "Zombie Detective," tvN's "Record of Youth," and SBS' "Do You Like Brahms?" are all youth-oriented K-dramas that gives a colorful Monday-Tuesday night.
