Everglow Releases Futuristic Music Video Teaser For 'LA DI DA' + Album Release
The emerging South Korean all-girl band Everglow dropped the first music video teaser for their lead single called LA DI DA. According to Hellokpop, the said song is one of the four new tracks of Everglow from their forthcoming sophomore extended play entitled -77.82X-78.29.
Since Everglow debuted, the band has continually mesmerized their fans through its cinematic music videos and enticing dance moves. On top of that, the group shared the first music video teaser for their highly anticipated comeback and is being reported to share more exciting concepts.
The 28-second video clip’s initial setup is in a wet and rainy location that best looks like a superhero film. The band members then drew attention through exuding powerful auras as the video transitions from monochromatic to a colorful setup.
Furthermore, all six members of the group donned various red and black outfits with a touch of white and neon lighting.
Specifically, the song LA DI DA is inspired by the ‘80s, reminiscent of its retro melody, where the video clip tagged along. As the said song harmonized with both pop and retro genres, the lyrics sing of the unhappiness of the youth, talking about the less-fortunate younger generation. Also, the words and retro instrumental comes up with the best futuristic craft, in the form of a “cyber-punk” concept of a music video.
The mixture of old and new genres and concepts allows Everglow to create brand-new variations, giving prominence to a music video in a dynamic atmosphere.
Since Everglow’s debut in 2019, the band has dominated the iTunes K-pop chart, and their music video for DUN DUN and ADIOS surpassed the 100-million view mark on Youtube. And with the music video teaser, fans expect their idols to release more concepts.
Meanwhile, Everglow’s -77.82X-78.29 has made on September 21 at precisely 6 P.M. KST.
