Park Bo Gum Receives Love And Thanks From The Orphanage He's Been Supporting
OSEN reported on September 9 that before the enlistment of Park Bo Gum took place on August 31, he had sent a cake and a handwritten letter in advance to an orphanage where he's been secretly volunteering for seven years. It has been reported that Park Bo Gum tried to spend time with the children in the orphanage since the beginning of this year, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he could not visit there.
During that day, a source from the actor's agency, Blossom Entertainment, confirmed that the actor and his official fan club have been supporting and volunteering at the orphanage for the past seven years.
Furthermore, the orphanage expressed their thanks to the actor on their social media, saying, "Actor Park Bo Gum, we are extremely touched and loved. We are truly thankful for your unchanging love and interest in us fro seven years. We will always be supporting actor Park Bo Gum, who is always a positive influence on others. Please return in good health."
The orphanage added that they were touched by Park Bo Gum's handwritten letter and the pretty cake. They shared that the children loved the present. "We thank you sincerely."
Park Bo Gum recently enlisted quietly in the military, and he will serve as a cultural promotion soldier in the navy after six weeks of basic training. Before enlisting, the actor filmed the tvN drama, "Record of Youth," as well as the movies "Wonderland" and "Seo Bok."

Park Bo Gum's agency confirmed on August 31 that the actor quietly enlisted on August 31. And in consideration of everyone's health during the COVID-19 pandemic, Park Bo Gum decided to enlist privately.
During the day of Park Bo Gum's enlistment, the actor's YouTube channel shared a music video for his cover of the song "Yes, we are together" from "Infinite Challenge." Park Bo Gum's touching video features footage from his 2019 Asian fan meeting tour, and it ends with the message, "Bless you all, and I wish you the best in the future."
Park Bo Gum's discharge from the military will be on April 2022.
