GOT7's Jackson Wang Teams-Up With Galantis For 'Pretty Please'
GOT7's finest, 26-year-old Jackson Wang, made known his team-up product with the Swedish electronic dance music doubleton Galantis: Linus Eklöw and Christian Karlsson. The trio's collaboration paved the way for the tracked titled 'Pretty Please' and its sad music video.
As per Hellokpop, the Chinese artist basing in South Korean shows off his extreme talents as a singer, dance, and director.
The music video's setup is traditional, best resembling a '90s film, showcasing the singer's creativeness in the said concept. Furthermore, the making off video that was also made known had the rapper reveal why and how he came up with the idea. He said that his inspiration is straight out from his old Hong Kong movies.
In the music video, Jackson Wang rests in a restaurant styled with dim lights as he stares toward a girl and the pouring rain on the streets. The singer depicts his sophistication with his fully-pledged dance moves as he tries to win the girl he has been staring in the restaurant. The music video went on with Jackson Wang giving prominence to the dance ensemble The Kinjas and actress from his former '100 Ways' music video.
The track itself tags along with its EDM melody and rhythm as it resounds a thumping bass beat. The lyric of 'Pretty Please' is a song expressing a particular person's yearning for love and affection.
"Don't hate me, give love a chance / Don't need your heart, just need your hands / Knew from the start that this won't end," part of the lyrics sings.
The singer genuinely mesmerizes his beloved fans with his unique vocals and husky voice, adding to the track's "x-factor." Moreover, his voice indeed made the song more impressive through its "headbanging" melody.
For the time being, Jackson Wang has newly released his clothing line 'Team Wang Design.' He acts as the brand's sole founder, designer, and creative director.
