Big Hit Entertainment Ranks 4th On The Top 50 Innovative Companies This 2020
Big Hit Entertainment ranks 4th on the list of the Top 50 Most Innovative Companies in 2020.
Big Hit Entertainment has become a company to look forward to this second half of 2020. The label recently passed the preliminary examination for the stock market and planned to continue with the IPO.
Fast Company, an American business magazine, chooses Big Hit Entertainment to be part of the “The World’s Top 50 Most Innovative Companies 2020.”
On the list, Snap Inc. hits number 1, followed by Microsoft, Tesla company, and then Big Hit Entertainment on the fourth rank. Although the list changes every year, the reason why Big Hit surpassed other famous company like Apple that ranks number 39 on the list, is because of its apps Weverse and Weverse Shop that launched last year. Big Hit combined entertainment business with IT.
Different fan communities brought together in one app, Weverse, through a mobile application. While Weverse Shop allowed them to see concert tickets, buy concert tickets, and or limited edition goods for the fans.
CEO of SV Investment, Park Sung Ho, was also asked why he invested in Big Hit Entertainment before the boy group BTS debuted. He answered that he did not invest in Big Hit Entertainment, he invested in Bang Shi Hyuk himself.
Park Sung Ho believed in Bang Shi Hyuk and is confident about his plans, and he thinks that Shi Hyuk will do well. Bang Shi Hyuk has a creative mind like Park Jin Young and the entrepreneurial skills of Kim Bum Soo, CEO of Kakao.
On a Corporate Briefing of Big Hit Entertainment last 2019, Bang Shi Hyuk commented that innovation is the ability to change in the industry and new added value to generate more excellent sales. He said he would continue to strive more to continue innovating the music industry. (Via Koreaboo)
