'To All The Guys Who Loved Me' Pauses Filming Due To A Positive COVID-19 Case Among Its Cast
KBS' comedy-drama "To All The Guys Who Loved Me," airing every Monday and Tuesday, has announced that they paused their filming for the show after supporting actor Seo Sung Jong tested positive for COVID-19.
Based on the report, the actor began to experience symptoms on August 16 and had gotten tested on August 18. And on August 19, results revealed that the actor is positive for COVID-19.
A source from the drama made more confirmations saying that Seo Sung Jong tested positive for COVID-19. The source also revealed that Seo Sung Jong came to the set to film his scenes on August 14.
"We have halted all the filming for the drama. Those who came into contact with the actor was asked to quarantine themselves and get tested."
"To All The Guys Who Loved Me" of KBS channel has just two more air episodes before it ends its story. When the production staff was asked if the recent news will impact the drama's broadcast schedule, they replied that they are not at the stage to discuss matters yet. The source also noted that they would release an official statement once they know all the details.
Starring Hwang Jung Eun, Yoon Hyun Min, and Seo Ji Hoon, the drama is set to air its final episode on August 25.
Meanwhile, as the news about the halt of the filming of the drama "To All The Guys Who Loved Me" came in, KBS also announced that the show "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" (LT) has also shut down it's filming temporarily.
On August 19, Xportsnews explained that some of the "Do Do Sol Sol La Sol Sol Sol" staff are also working with the drama "To All The Guys Who Loved Me." And even if the team is not in direct contact, they were still tested and are still waiting for the results.
While the staff waited for the test results, they halted all filming to secure the staff's safety and the cast.
