BLACKPINK JENNIE Wins Global Force Award at Billboard Women in Music 2025
BLACKPINK's JENNIE, a global powerhouse artist, has been recognized at the Billboard Women in Music 2025 awards, securing a spot on this year's honors list.
On February 12 (local time), Billboard announced the winners for its annual Billboard Women in Music 2025 event, where JENNIE was named the recipient of the Global Force Award.
Introducing JENNIE, Billboard stated, "The one and only JENNIE has established herself as a dominant force in the global music scene through her solo career."
Billboard Women in Music is a prestigious event celebrating the most influential female artists, creators, producers, and executives who have made a significant impact on the music industry. This year, JENNIE joins an elite lineup of awardees, including ángela Aguilar, Erykah Badu, GloRilla, Megan Moroney, Meghan Trainor, and Tyla.
JENNIE's Rising Solo Career & Billboard Achievements
JENNIE made a successful solo debut last October with her single "Mantra", which landed on the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks. Recently, she set a new personal record with her latest release "Love Hangover (feat. Dominic Fike)," debuting at No. 96 on the Hot 100.
She is now preparing to unveil her first full-length solo album, 'Ruby', set for release on March 7. Ahead of the album drop, she has already released the "ZEN" music video and the pre-release track "Love Hangover."
The Billboard Women in Music 2025 ceremony will take place on March 29 (local time) at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, California. The event is expected to celebrate JENNIE's global influence, further cementing her status as a trailblazer in the music industry.
