IU Announces World Tour After Five Years, Starting in Seoul this March
K-pop star IU is set to embark on a world tour, her first in five years. On January 17th, her agency EDAM Entertainment released a teaser image for '2024 IU H.E.R. World Tour Concert' through their official channels, sparking anticipation among fans.
The teaser image showcases IU's intense visuals, capturing attention with her languid and dreamy gaze, raising expectations for the concert. The tour will kick off in Seoul on March 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th, and will travel to various cities including Yokohama, Taipei, Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, London, Berlin, Bangkok, Osaka, Newark, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Rosemont, Oakland, and Los Angeles. Notably, this is her first tour since the 'Love, Poem' tour in 2019, and includes some new destinations, adding to the excitement.

Besides the world tour announcement, IU has also been garnering attention with the promotion of her pre-release track 'Love Wins'. This track marks her first new release in over two years and has been creating buzz, especially with the participation of BTS's V, and direction by Uhm Tae-hwa, the director of the successful film 'Concrete Utopia' which attracted 3.84 million viewers.
The agency expressed, "We ask for much anticipation for the new performances that IU, who has always communicated closely with fans and shared love and respect, will present."
