Heo Youngji is set to make her solo debut, approximately 9 years after joining the iconic group KARA in 2014.

On September 12th, Heo Youngji will release her first single album, 'Toi Toi Toi'. The title, which translates to "Wishing for Luck," promises to deliver a message of encouragement to listeners, infused with Youngji's signature vibrant and positive energy.

Leading up to her solo debut, Youngji has been heightening fans' anticipation by sequentially unveiling a coming-up poster, scheduler, and tracklist. Notably, her fresh look with orange-tinted hair and teaser content featuring an airport board and an airplane signal a bright new beginning for the artist.

'Toi Toi Toi' includes a total of three tracks: the title song 'L.O.V.E', 'Focus', and 'Climax'. The third track, 'Climax', which was previewed at her solo fan meeting in June, holds special significance as Youngji participated in its lyric writing. Renowned hitmakers such as Rocoberry and Seo Ji-eum also contributed, elevating the album's overall quality.

One of the primary reasons Heo Youngji's solo debut is garnering attention is her reputation as an "all-rounder" who excels in singing, rapping, and dancing. Upon joining KARA, she immediately embarked on a Japanese tour, earning recognition for her talent and dedication. Her presence was further highlighted last year when KARA made a full-group comeback with their 15th-anniversary special album 'MOVE AGAIN'.

In addition to her musical pursuits, Youngji has expanded her horizons by acting in dramas like 'Another Miss Oh'. Recently, she's been actively participating in various variety shows. Particularly, her role as a host on SBS's 'Midnight' YouTube content 'Idol Complaint Office with Chief Heo' has become a desired platform for K-pop fans wishing to see their favorite idol groups.

Often referred to as the "Textbook All-Rounder," Heo Youngji continues her musical journey, transitioning from being a member of the 2nd generation group KARA to a solo artist representing the 5th generation. With her solo debut titled 'Toi Toi Toi', expectations are high for Heo Youngji to spread luck and showcase her evolved artistry to the world.
