Along with the success of BLACKPINK's single 'How You Like That' that dominated the world musically, their single reached 400 million on Youtube, earning them another achievement. Meanwhile, the girl group also celebrates their 4th anniversary with an exclusive video for their fans.
BLACKPINK added another milestone to their success with their reigning number one single 'How You Like That' accumulating 400 million views on Youtube. The MV surpassed this kind of feat in just 43 days after its initial release on June 26.
BLACKPINK's single marks as the fastest to reach 400 million among all K-pop music videos on Youtube. The girl group's previous single, 'Kill This Love,' also garnered a 400 million mark on Youtube with only 63 days since its initial release.
According to the Korean Business Research Institute, BLACKPINK is the most sought after girl group for the past two months. The ranking is grounded on various factors, including consumer media, communication, and community indices. In conclusion, BLACKPINK maintained its ranking after scoring a brand reputation index of 9,922,928 for August.
BLACKPINK was the fastest act to achieve this milestone and the third to K-pop artist to hold two positions simultaneously, following the footsteps of Psy's 'Gangnam Style' and label mates Big Bang.
