Singer BIG Naughty has apologized for his actions involving an unauthorized stage exit during a performance and public display of affection (PDA) with his girlfriend.

On May 4, during the 'Tone & Music Festival', BIG Naughty suddenly dashed off stage while performing an unreleased song, only to return approximately 30 seconds later. Witness accounts and backstage footage later revealed that BIG Naughty had engaged in PDA, including kissing and touching a woman's face, sparking controversy.

This act, considered unprofessional and disrespectful towards fans, led to a wave of criticism. In response, BIG Naughty broadcasted an apology three days later, on May 7.

In his apology, BIG Naughty admitted, "There were moments where I acted carelessly at the 'Tone & Music Festival'. I'm sorry."

He went on to say, "I've never taken my fans' love for granted. I appreciate being able to do what I love, and I'll continue to cherish that. While I've never treated my work or anything else lightly, there was a gap between my actions and thoughts. I will live with a heart full of gratitude for those who prepare the performances and come to see them."

In response to criticism about his attitudes during other performances, such as late arrivals, BIG Naughty commented, "There seem to be misunderstandings about my lateness to university festivals and events, but I also acknowledge my mistakes. I apologize for the delays."

After gaining recognition through Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 8' in 2019, BIG Naughty has released hit songs such as 'What I Once Believed to Be Love' and 'As We Remain Friends'. Last year, he also gained popularity as a member of the project group Eardrum Boyz.
